Pricing:

Many computer issues can be solved in just a few minutes whereas others can take substantial amounts of time. We have attempted to put together a pricing schedule to help you make an educated decision on whether or not you want to invest money into repairing a laptop/workstation. For some of the more common services we have developed a pricing table, for services outside of these parameters you will be billed an hourly rate with a 1/2 hour minimum charge for remote diagnostics and a 1 hour minimum for on site diagnostics. We are excited about the development of the remote assistance technique because this eliminates a lot of travel time, and we are able to solve many problems with just a simple log in to your machine. 

Fresh operating system install - $180
The fresh operating system will include the necessary drivers as well as an active anti-virus subscription. All current windows updates will also be performed.

Data transfer (fully functioning hard drives only) - $150
We will move critical data from your old machine (my docs, pictures, favorites, email file, QuickBooks) to a new machine or external drive that you have provided.

Data recovery - Starting at $170
Data recovery time can vary significantly depending on the state of the hard drive. If we can’t recover your data within the parameters of the $170 charge, we will notify you and update you on the projected cost.

Basic Clean up/tune up - $100
Eliminate temporary files, ensure current updates have been performed. Scan and repair the registry.

Virus Recovery of Workstation/Laptop
Depending on the infiltration of the virus and the degree of damage a workstation can take several hours to repair. It is not uncommon to spend 6-8 hours recovering a machine from a virus attack. Our approach to pricing this scenario is that we can either recover your data and then reformat the hard drive or repair the existing operating system. The recover/reinstall would be $300 and would leave you with a clean computer that you would then need to reinstall all of your software that you currently use. If we repair the existing operating system it will be billed hourly at $85/hr with a cap of $425. The advantage to this scenario is that you won’t need to reinstall any software/devices.

Wireless Network Configuration - $85/hr
A technician will come out onsite to evaluate and set up your wireless network.This process standardly takes 2-3 hours.
Other pricing for services will be added as we practice and develop our business. Most other services will be performed at the rate of $85/hr plus materials (hardware/software/cabling, etc.)
